SPOOKY Altered Frame DT for SWMEB

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by today. I want to share this adorable Spooky Frame I created using a wood frame I found in my stash.

I first covered the frame sides with some black acrylic paint.  After it dried, I covered the front of the frame in the After Dark Paper Collection, from Crate Paper, and adhered it with some gel medium.  I then covered the entire frame with a clear embossing powder, to give the frame a glossy look. In our Design Team Kit this month there was some glow in the dark embossing powder.  I took a embossing pen and colored in the circles with the embossing pen and applied some of the glow in the dark embossing powder.

I cut out the Rickey House, Candle Fright Spider and On the Fence Time Holtz Alterations Dies in chipboard and painted each one of them with black acrylic paint.  I took a dry paint brush and went over the house and fence with a dry brush, using white gesso.  I then applied a couple of coats of clear embossing powder, to give them a glossy look. I then applied them to the frame with some E6000 glue and hot glue, to arrange them on the frame.  I added some cute puffy stickers spelling out Spooky,

Altered Witches Hat

Hello everyone,  hope  you are having a wonderful day. It is finally time for Fall my favorite time of year. I received my Design Team SWMB September kit  Crate Paper After Dark and it is packed full of wonderful goodness and you guessed it is all about Halloween and Fall. I created a altered witches hat and have  a complete step by step tutorial on how i created this gorgeous hat below.

I picked the pumpkin up at Walmart and used my Silhouette to cut out some vinyl to crate the pumpkin face and attached the hat to the top. I really like how this turns out.
